Assistant Professor – Clinical Dentistry Faculty Knoxville, TN Apply Here: https://careers.lmunet.edu/postings/40853 The Lincoln Memorial University–College of Dental Medicine (LMU-CDM) is seeking Clinical General Dentistry Faculty to serve at the LMU-Tower and LMU Community Care Clinics. This faculty member will supervise students in the Centers for Excellence (CE) as they care for their patient families, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered clinical education. Position Summary *Reporting to the Dean for Clinical Affairs, this role focuses on: *Supervising and mentoring predoctoral dental students *Overseeing patient care within LMU-CDM clinical sites *Supporting a safe, efficient, high-quality learning environment *Modeling professionalism, clinical excellence, and evidence-based practice *Collaborating with faculty and staff to meet program, accreditation, and clinical care goals Required Qualifications *D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree *Strong working knowledge of dental practice operations *Highly skilled in general dentistry *Adaptable, motivated, and able to work independently *Team-oriented, personable, patient-focused *Commitment to student learning, ethical care, and professional development Preferred Qualifications *Experience in private practice performing comprehensive general dentistry *Prior experience in a dental teaching environment *Interest in mentoring future dentists and supporting LMU’s mission Why Join LMU-CDM? *LMU-CDM is one of the nation’s newest dental schools, committed to expanding access to dental education and improving oral health in Appalachia and surrounding regions.
