Eastern Virginia Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is welcoming experienced Dental Assistants to join our team! Offices in Norfolk and Virginia Beach. Oral Surgery Assisting experience is a plus! Responsibilities: - Assist oral surgeons during procedures by providing chairside assistance. - Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to support the oral surgery team in delivering high-quality patient care. - Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe and sterile environment in the oral surgery setting. - Utilize EMR systems such as Sensei to accurately document patient information and treatment plans. - Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy is maintained at all times. - Perform X-Ray procedures and assist with medical imaging as required during oral surgery procedures. - Monitor vital signs and assist with patient assessments to support the oral surgery team in delivering optimal care. - Collaborate with dental receptionists to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient scheduling of appointments.
