Meuselbach Family Dental ([www.DrMeuselbach.com] in West Chester is taking resumes/info for an experienced EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Assistant) to join our family and cosmetic general dentistry practice! **Note: EFDA position (not chairside assistant) Ideally experience of at least a year in a dental office. We are an individual, solo single Dr. practice (no chain). You will be joining another EFDA, 3 hygienists, and 2 front desk staff. We have a nice, newer building In West Chester just off of I-75, close to Liberty Center and VOA. Our open hours are Monday & Tuesday 7:15-5, Wednesday 8:45-5:30, Thursday 7:15-2:30 with a 30 minute lunch on all days except Thursday (straight through). **We may be flexible with the schedule hours/days if needed. Great for part-time 3 days if needed. As long as we have advance notice, time off is NOT an issue. Reliability is key, however! No nights and no Fridays/weekends required! We offer 401k/profit sharing, vacation, and paid holidays which are scheduled on work days and subject to plan rules (hours/days worked, etc. such as if part time). Medical may be obtained through the ODA office plan if needed. Patient care and extra time for appointments is given for comfort, less stress for you and the patient, and quality of work. We don't push you for production! Being self-critical is required (i.e. know if something needs redone, and feel free to ask if help is needed with no issues). Be independent but know your limits. Great patient communication skills are needed! Have fun! Our EFDAs perform the duties of both chairside dental assistant plus EFDA duties. Our Team gets along and we have 'Team Players' that help each other out. We are professional but like to enjoy! Knowledge and skill is expected in: Composite placement (posterior/anterior), cosmetics, scanner use, core build-ups , crown temporary fabrication, occlusal guard seating/adjusting, impressions, proper chart entry, discussing treatment with patients, lab slip completion, lab check-in, implant basics, scanner use, and sterilization. We use Isodry mouthpieces/suction to make it easier for you and to increase quality. If you have certain materials, instruments that you like, we can accommodate. No Caresource/Medicaid.
