Flexible schedule available Our regular hours: Monday through Thursday 8.30am to 4.30pm. We are open to working with your preferred schedule. Part-time, full-time, half-day, part-day. Please let us know what you are looking for. We are a family dental office near downtown Smyrna, GA. The goal of our practice is to provide quality dental care in a comfortable environment, for both our patients and for our staff. We are not a corporate chain office. Our hygienists are not required to 'sell' extra treatment. Our current team includes one owner/general dentist, three hygienists, one dental assistant and one front office assistant. We all get along and work well together. We take a 30 minute break instead of 1 hour so we can leave before 5pm to beat the traffic. We strive to provide the best care for each patient, so we run a more relaxed schedule compared to most offices. The doctor usually only sees one patient at a time. Typical hygiene appointments are scheduled for one hour, 2 quadrants of SRP 1.5hrs, new patient appointments 1.5hrs. One column only (no double booking). Job Requirements: Be reliable and on time. Self motivated with a strong work ethic and able to work in a team environment. Great customer service and communication skill. Proficient with computers and adaptable to new technology. New dental hygiene graduates welcome! Daily duties include but are not limited to: Take dental xrays. Chart periodontal measurements. Perform preventative cleanings and deep cleanings. Take intraoral photos and discuss potential treatment needed Educate patient on periodontal issues and discuss dental treatment that doctor recommends. Set up and break down operatory rooms. Pack instruments for sterilization. Manage supply inventory and general upkeep of the treatment areas.
