Join our team as an oral surgery assistant! Established oral surgery practice seeking an energetic, compassionate, and dependable registered dental assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate must be able to provide exceptional patient care while maintaining a positive attitude and friendly atmosphere. We are seeking an individual who is self-motivated, coachable, organized, and VALUES their teammates. Conscientiousness, diligence, and an attitude of gratitude are paramount! Requirements: Current up to date RDA license Current up to date CPR DAANCE is a plus Bi-lingual is a plus Experience as an oral surgery assistant is a plus but not required Schedule: Monday- Thursday (some Fridays) 8:30AM-4PM (our schedule is dependent on patient needs and may change from time to time) Some of the duties of our full-time surgical assistants include: - Assist the doctor during surgical procedures - Monitor patients for safety during and after administration of anesthetics/sedatives - Accurately record treatment information - Instruct patients in pre-op and post-op care - Set up instrument trays - Prepare patients for upcoming procedures - Take diagnostic x-rays and cone beam CT scans We are looking to fill this position ASAP. Starting pay can range depending on qualifications and experience.
