We are looking to add a confident employee to our front office team as a scheduling & hygiene coordinator. We are a 2-doctor, private practice in Allen TX, and we typically have 3-4 hygienists working per day. We use Dentrix software, and Dentrix experience is a plus. Our team and our patients are like family to us, and we want them to have great and personable customer service. We are looking for someone to ultimately fulfill the following responsibilities, and we're willing to train for the right personality: - Handling office phone and email correspondence - Greeting all patients upon arrival and checking them in with a smile - Checking patients out, including taking payments - Scheduling patients to ensure the hygiene and doctor schedules are full - Understanding and explaining the basics of dental insurance and dental procedures to patients - Reviewing treatment plan estimates with patients - General office organization and calendar planning - Clerical work such as scanning and supply ordering The ideal candidate would be: - Confident and well-spoken, both written and verbal - Able to multitask and work well with others in a busy environment - Competent with technology - Organized and neat with great attention to detail, and outstanding follow-through - A self-starter - Reliable, friendly, warm and inviting - Able to work well with others as a team We currently work 4 days per week, never weekends. We see patients Mon-Thurs from 8-5 one week, and then we alternate and work Tuesday-Friday the next week, but on the Fridays we work, we end at 2pm instead of 5pm. *Arrival time for this position would be by 7:20am each day If you're looking for your forever work family, please submit your resume!
