Endodontic Dental Assistant Position Overview We are looking for a Registered Dental Assistant to join our endodontic specialty practice. The ideal candidate has experience supporting endodontic procedures, is patient-focused, has strong chairside skills and a calm, positive personality are important for this role. Key Responsibilities • Assist the endodontist during root canal and related endodontic treatments • Anticipate clinical needs and ensure smooth patient care • Take accurate digital radiographs; CBCT training a plus • Prepare and maintain instruments, materials, and treatment rooms • Follow strict infection control, sterilization, and OSHA protocols • Educate patients and support post-treatment instructions • Provide reassurance and a warm patient experience • Document treatment notes accurately and efficiently • Monitor inventory, assist with ordering supplies and timely reordering • Support front office duties when needed (check-in, scheduling, flow) • Contribute to a positive, team-centered office culture • Nitrous oxide monitoring Core Competencies • Endodontic assisting experience and comfort with root canal workflows • Professional, friendly chairside manner • Strong communication skills in English and Spanish (preferred) • Digital radiography proficiency; knowledge of sterilization best practices • Detail-oriented with strong organization and documentation habits • Reliable, punctual, and adaptable • Team player with a proactive approach to patient care Qualifications • Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) • Nitrous oxide monitoring certificate • Xray ceritification • 3+ years dental assisting preferred • Bilingual: English and Spanish (preferred) • Availability for occasional Saturdays if needed Benefits offered: Competitive Compensation Monthly bonuses based on office performance Health, Dental, Vision Insurance 401(K) Retirement plan Uniform allowance Paid Holidays and Time Off And much more!
