Dental Hygienist (Part-Time | 2 Days/Week | Opportunity for Full-Time) Everlasting Dentistry in Fort Worth is growing, and we are excited to welcome a friendly, positive, and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to our team! This is a part-time position (2 days per week) with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as our practice continues to expand. We are looking for a dental hygienist who is gentle yet thorough, an excellent communicator, and someone who truly enjoys building relationships with their patients. Key Responsibilities • Performing thorough dental cleanings and preventive care • Conduct comprehensive patient screenings, including: Review of medical history, Oral cancer screenings, Head and neck exams, Dental charting, Monitoring vital signs • Take, evaluate, and be able to interpret diagnostic dental radiographs • Perform periodontal scaling and root planing therapy and provide patient education on periodontal disease • Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants • Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and their overall oral health • Accurately document patient care with detailed clinical notes and be able to communicate effectively with the doctor and team • Maintain compliance with OSHA and HIPAA standards • Build strong patient rapport and contribute to a positive clinical environment • Sterilize and maintain dental equipment Qualifications & Ideal Traits • Must hold an active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Texas(required) • CPR certification (required) • Nitrous oxide certification (required) • Ability to take and read diagnostic dental radiographs • Experience placing dental sealants • Knowledgeable in all aspects of dentistry including Invisalign • Minimum 2 years of dental hygiene experience preferred • Gentle but thorough clinical approach • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Friendly, positive, and patient-focused chairside manner • Efficient time management and strong organizational skills • Reliable, detail-oriented, and a true team player • Laser certification is a plus • Experience taking healthy mouth scans with iTero is a plus Position Details • Part-time: 2 days per week (approximately 16 hours) • Opportunity to expand into a full-time position 4 days per week • Competitive pay: $48+/hour, based on experience and skills • Location: Fort Worth, TX 76177 Office Hours • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM • Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM Who We Are Looking For A dental hygienist who loves what they do, values teamwork, communicates well, and wants to grow with a practice that prioritizes patient comfort, education, and quality care.
