Job description: Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient treatment plans and ensuring a smooth flow of operations within the office. This position requires strong organizational skills, familiarity with dental terminology, and proficiency in medical administrative support. Duties Coordinate patient treatment plans by communicating effectively with both patients and dental professionals. Manage patient records and files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize dental software such Dentrix for scheduling appointments, managing billing, and maintaining patient information. Assist in medical billing processes, including insurance verification and claims submission. Provide clerical support to the office, including answering phones, responding to inquiries, and managing correspondence. Maintain an organized office environment by filing documents and ensuring all records are up-to-date. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient experiences from initial contact through treatment completion. Experience Previous experience in a dental clinic or medical office setting is required Familiarity with dental administrative support tasks including scheduling, billing, and record management is essential. Proficient typing skills and experience with office software are required. Knowledge of dental terminology is a significant advantage for effective communication within the team and with patients. Experience using Dentrix software is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
