Role Overview: As a Patient Care Coordinator you will manage all administrative and front office duties. As the first point of contact for patients and visitors, you will be integral to creating a positive and welcoming experience for everyone who walks through our doors. This role combines customer service excellence with administrative efficiency, making it the perfect opportunity for someone who is organized, compassionate, and dedicated to enhancing the patient experience. Key Responsibilities: • Warmly greet and welcome patients upon arrival at the dental office, ensuring a positive first impression. • Manage and maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and proper organization. • Answer incoming calls and redirect them as necessary or take messages, providing courteous and informative communication. • Sort and manage incoming emails and communications, ensuring timely responses. • Maintain a neat and organized front desk area with all necessary materials (pens, forms, etc.). • Assist with patient scheduling, ensuring appointments are properly coordinated and patients are informed. • Travel to other office locations as needed to provide support and ensure operational continuity. • Collaborate with the team to handle any additional office responsibilities or projects as required. Knowledge of Insurance verifications Requirements: • Proven experience (1 year) as a front desk representative, office assistant, or in a similar role. • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, team members, and external contacts. • Excellent organizational abilities to juggle multiple tasks and keep operations running smoothly. • Problem-solving skills to manage patient concerns, resolve issues, and proactively address potential challenges. • Proficiency with office equipment (fax machines, printers, etc.) and familiarity with office software. • Customer service orientation to ensure that all patients feel cared for and supported throughout their visit. • High school diploma required; additional education is a plus. • Willingness to travel between office locations when necessary.
